TheAlabama Retail Association is seeking Alabama Centennial Retailers – retailers with 100 or more years in business in Alabama. The program recognizes century-old retail businesses for their contributions to the state’s past, present and future.  Alabama Centennial Retailers will be recognized at the Alabama Retail Day Luncheon in September in Birmingham.  Each will receive a brass plaque for the outside of their business and a certificate suitable for display inside. Retail businesses that began in 1910 or before are eligible as Alabama Centennial Retailers. Retailers whose names are submitted will be contacted and asked to provide a brief history and other information about their business.
