RetailPAC Endorses Three in July 13 Primary Runoffs

MONTGOMERY – Three candidates endorsed by Alabama RetailPAC, the political action committee of the Alabama Retail Association, will appear on ballots in the Tuesday, July 13, primary runoffs. RetailPAC continues its endorsement of these candidates, first endorsed for the June 1 primary.

“The Alabama Retail Association board of directors believes these candidates understand the issues retailers face at their businesses every day and that, if elected, these individuals will give the interests of retailers a fair hearing in the halls of government and justice,” said ARA President Rick Brown. The Retail Association closely evaluates each candidate’s record and discusses the ramifications of each race before granting its endorsement. “We are confident these candidates are the best choices for these positions,” Brown said.

The Alabama Retail Association represents almost 4,000 independent merchants and national companies that retail food, clothing, furniture and other general merchandise at more than 6,000 locations throughout Alabama. The membership of ARA accounts for more than 75 percent of total annual retail sales in Alabama. Since 1943, it has been the goal of the Alabama Retail Association to serve its members and promote what is best for the retailing industry in the state of Alabama.
